This is why I’m not surprised to see pornography from certain eras. I’m assuming there’s sanskrit porn, but I wouldn’t be able to decipher the ‘ooohs’ and ‘aaahs’. This is not only an obscure example of ‘Era Porn’, but an incredible example of illustration in the time it was created too. The Napoleonic Era, 1799-1815 (roughly), was a busy time for all those in France and the greater Europe. Even with all the hoo-haa of the French Revolution, there still lived a desire that needed to be satisfied. Whilst I’m not sure the man of the hour is depicted in any of these himself, but it just goes to show that no matter what’s happening in your immediate existence, there’s always time for porn.
